How can I find the Masters games?

I am studying a book and I thought about finding the games in lichess. How can I find them? The search engine only shows me those of the liches players.
Or am I doing something wrong?

Chessgames.com is subpar. It is rarely updated, and in most searches you don't get ANY recent games. All serious chess players use Chessbase for opening prep and game review. However, the Chessbase software is very expensive. I find it worth it, but if you are looking for something free it's probably not the answer.

So who wants recent games? 1988 oughta be in there.

Ok, thanks. But, why is not here?? when i look the "aperture analysis" there is a lot of games... why that games are not accesible with a search??

Chessbase isn't cheap but it's not *that* expensive. An annual premium membership is around $75 (~$6/mo). I'm not even "serious" about chess and I still think it's worth it.

chessgames.com is a decent free option.
