Lichess I am begging you

If disconnects were counted as draws, what would stop someone from disconnecting on purpose every time they got a bad position?
Man, I am 11. And I disconnect a LOT in my old account. But that old account got hacked...

I never felt when my connection went. You'll earn your rating back, trust me!
that is impossible ofcourse, one can easily cause a lag-out and in that way draw anyone. also GM:s ofcourse
(i didn read all replies, hope my iznt a reapeat)

A loss is would always be the loser's fault due to a mistake, but internet issues are never really anyone's fault. (TBH this has never happened to me anywhere else)

Lichess does not automatically count disconnection as a loss. When you disconnect, after enough time has elapsed without reconnecting, your opponent has the option to claim a victory or call a draw. Most will claim a victory because it is more beneficial to them.
