It would be nice to play checkmate puzzles. I cant find any good ones online.

Lichess is planning on developing filters for their training puzzles, which will likely include mate-in-x filters. I haven't checked the github in a while, so I don't know if they've even started, but it's definitely planned.
Until then, chesstempo is really good, though you have to pay a small fee to do more than a few per day. There are definitely several free mobile apps that provide those puzzles, if you have a smartphone or tablet.
