Especially for beginners - as they start at 1500 rating too. And they have to stomach quite a no. of losses before they get to their actual rating strength - which as a beginner player could be discouraging.
Of course it is just a matter of dozen games or so but would be great if an option to choose a starting rating can be introduced.
Similar for puzzle rating as well.
