puzzle training

this "puzzle - trainig" with points and rating is the biggest shit ever !
I tested many many puzzles just to see what happens:
first bad thing : often one simple, not realy good move they call the best and then it's over baby...
second strange thing: in many of these "puzzles" you can move any rubbish - give Queen for free or other mistakes and you get 6 or 5 or 9 points - it says "puzzle failed but you get points for !!! wasted time !

What are you talking about? The puzzles don't work like that. You can't win points by making a bad move. And you can only pass the puzzle if you make the best move. The fact is that you suck at puzzles. You should blame only yourself.

You should discontinue puzzle training until the next puzzle overhaul. They have already overhauled it in the past 6 months. It was extremely bad for a while where I would see mate in one but it would say puzzle failed. There is a chess puzzle app you can download for free at the app store called Chess Tactics.

Puzzle trainer is very stressful. It requires a perfectionist mindset.

I suggest you to go through all steps of chess basics page first, making sure you get 3 stars in all steps, if that is not too stressful too.

Once you did that, move to chess practice page:

Those pages have a great advantage. They don't just say "puzzle failed". They show you which opponent response that makes your move a bad move, and even allow you to continue playing the game, showing you how exactly would the computer defeat you if you did that wrong move.

And... if you have found any possibly broken puzzle, do report the problem number.
