Had a guy lose intentionally

I had this guy lose about 7 or 8 times on purpose in 5 or 6 moves. Is there a reason to this that I am missing or is he just ragequitting?

If you were in a tournament, some people just do that to be able to get another pairing. Maybe they were really low rated and just lost against you so they could get paired against other low-rated players.

Now if it was not a tournament, that's strange.

No this wasn't a tournament it was just a normal 3:0 game

Curious. It seems like just prior to tanking all those games and several others prior that appear to have been thrown as well, this guy was doing quite well in a Davies, not even blundering in his games, and even drew Stockfish level 2 with similar precision. I requested the analysis for that game, it's quite interesting...

I'm assuming either a hacker or intentionally wanting to change his rating to something lower for whatever reason... But its still odd since he was so good
