It would be neat if you could do a pre-move ONLY if your opponent plays a selected move.
To implement this, instead of pre-moving your piece first, you pre-move the OPPONENTS piece, then you can do your answer to that move.
Technically, click/tap a possible opponent move - then set your pre-move to answer that. IF you change your mind, cancel it by dragging opponents piece back.
This could be done in slower games, with multiple moves. Pre-move colours a square normally, you could make each seperate pre-move a different colour, correlating to each selected opponent pre-move.
