ENGLISH CHESS PLAYERS

This is the official team of the English Chess Federation (ECF), and generally all English
or Anglophile chess enthusiasts.

Click on the "Join team" button to authenticate your Lichess account with your ECF membership and join the English Players Team.

BENEFITS OF JOINING:

• Participate in official regular online ECF tournaments
• Play and find like-minded and local English players or supporters of English chess
• Play for the official English team in international team battles
• Gain or lose online ECF online rating points at blitz, rapid and standard time controls with
  rating lists published monthly

(Club matches are all ECF rated with ECF Blitz , Rapid and Standard online ratings
published monthly on the ECF Online Site here: https://englishchessonline.org.uk/
The ratings are based on ECF club games and games from affiliated events including
the 4NCL online and other registered online leagues and competitions).

ECF Online ratings are based on internet club/ team games and online games from
affiliated events only and are completely separate from ECF OTB ratings which will not
be impacted by internet games.)

SCHEDULE

The weekly tournament schedule is as follows:

Monday Afternoon Blitz....| 5-00 pm | 7 round Swiss at 5|2
Wednesday Evening Blitz..| 8-00 pm | 9 round Swiss at 3|2
Saturday Evening Rapid...| 8-00 pm | 90 minute Arena at 10|2

Regular Internationals are as follows:

Sunday Evening Bundesliga................| 7-00 pm | 100 mins team battle at 3|0
Tuesday Evening Champions League| 6-30 pm | 2 hour team battle at 3|0
Thursday Evening Bundesliga............ | 7-00 pm | 100 mins team battle at 3|0
