@elburaiano it's not an outlier when every woman you speak to has stories about these exact experiences.
I press f to pay respect to the author, cause the mean society, the chores at home and sexist comments and the pay gap, didnt let them to play the game they so liked. Of course its not their fault they didnt become good at it... its not their lack of passion, their lack of discipline and not training , their lack of talent , NO it is someone's fault . Everyone should blame soemthing else when they dont like the result. Solid advice, especially for chessplayers. So I want to say to every chessplayer here, if you try to get better at chess stop trying. Stop playing, stop training, just blame something else. Excellent perspective
#131 does "every" woman you speak to have said exact experiences? That sounds hard to believe.
Don't believe it then.
#134 i notice you didn't answer the question.
@Demonolith I won't deny people get threats on the internet, but they're never followed up on. Pick any reasonably famous internet content-producer and they'll have received threats. But the chance of those threats being followed up on Lichess.org is approximately zero.
@somethingpretentious woman chess players are good at chess, they are not being bullied or something. If a girl on a streaming platform are streaming chess, she deserves same amount of attention as a male streamers.
I'm talking about enourmous attention to them, like only now they became much stronger than mens and require more freedom. There's a lot of more important problems in our world and people are spending time trying to draw unnecessary attention to minorities. I know some people from such minorities that are shy and don't want to be publically shown. But because of recent attention they are bullled now. What a shame.

@elburaiano
Please do tell me what you're trying to say then, in your own words. My understanding is that you think Rippon is incorrect in her work and conclusion, and have sourced us an anti-science TV presenter to explain why. I have queried his credentials, as well as the position which I believe is the crux of your argument: that men and women have brains that are wired differently, and this explains differences in ability between the genders.

@elburaiano yes it is the case.
#120 There are biological differences that affect something. I don't think they seriously affect the chess. Here are a couple of links en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroscience_of_sex_differences archive.md/20200224173826/https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/the-gendered-brain-by-gina-rippon-review-do-men-and-women-have-different-brains-vq757qnph.
