King's Gambit!?

I am currently reading John Shaw's book on the KG which looks pretty good. He makes a big case for playing the Quaade Variation (1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf 3. Ng3 g4 4. Nc3). this line is less theoretical than some other lines in the KG but is still good fun to play.

Recently Baskaran Adhiban has played the King's Gambit on Tata Steel Chess tournament , in 6th round.

I used the King's Gambit in my younger days and I had fun with it. I'm more conservative these days. I prefer the King's Indian Attack and King's Indian Defense.
