Let's talk about flagging opponents

Lol I hate it it when he flgs me K&Q vs K&Q

Yea but it happens.. in non increment time controls...
#50 More interestingly, recently I've been fiercely arguing with the shogi community that byo-yomi is even better than increment in terms of encouraging a game instead of a clock-mashing contest.
Byo-yomi is losing popularity even in go. Fischer time is easier to understand. Byo-yomi does allow accumulation of time just as fischer so whats the difference? Only real advantage (as long as you are not the asked so count it for players) is that is easily implementable even with analog clocks. Which has little valuea these days.

All decent clocks do support it so it may survive still in Go
just play time controls like 15|10. Low on time in a winning position? Make three random king moves. Ez
