Yes currently the choice now is to only play blindfold for casual games or against the computer as to do otherwise leads to huge variation in ones play (I find it virtually impossible to play blindfold with little time on the clock) and so is unfair on future opponents. So having a blindfold varient would be great.

How to add an external engine, I checked the link that they have given and still am not clear.

Thanks for fixing the blog post - I'd prefer the alternative solution of actually encouraging open community participation in the development of anti-cheat tools, but if that's not happening then at least this should be stated properly.

Which I believe still is the accurate way to represent the stance in 240 characters. As I already typed too much in discord and I see that the blog got edited too, not sure there is much benefit in typing even more here :) But hopefully one day, things move in that direction. My guess would be that it's more realistic that working with/through other servers/orgs happens before one has the dream of everything fully public. But, well it's just my personal guess, and in the meantime the obscurity probably saves volunteers many hours of work.
