I think I was wrongly issued a timeout

I have been consistently playing games fairly. Only recently, I failed to play the first move as black and my game was aborted. After this I was issued a timeout and that too of 11 HOURS. I don't understand why this was done. I would like to know the reason of my timeout.
sure, i can help you there. you have a habit of ragesitting in losing positions:

and that's just in the last week.
Aborting games, leaving games, stalling on time will result in a temporary playban, duration of which will only increase with each new infraction and threshold for a ban will be lowered. Just don't do it, it's annoying for everyone involved.
Thank you for taking the trouble of going through games. I will remember this from the next time. Btw, ones I am blacklisted (like in this case), the timeout is issued even if the games get aborted right from the start (this time not my fault, probably due to faulty internet connection)?
Well too bad, it takes time to gain your reputation back ...
In short, the chance of redemption is very rare. Because even a small mistake, like aborting even a single game at the start increases the timeout. I guess I will just switch to chess.com instead of hoping for getting back my reputation.
Both stalling and aborting / not starting are sportsmanship infractions. I strongly suggest you don't commit any of these in the middle term.

I'd be really curious to know what's going on in the mind of someone who repeatedly lets the clock run down when they lose.

You are kind of right as it is annoying waiting for players who let time slip by.

I can tell you my perspective. When I used to have a better position, I would make a stupid blunder and start losing. On top of that this happening at the end of a bad day made it even worse, because I wanted that win to make me feel good. Nowadays, I have stopped doing it, instead just resign the instant I notice the blunder and quickly start a match with a new opponent, even if it is 2-3 moves at the start. Now, hopefully lichess won't start issuing timeout for resigning like this.
