I know people will like them because they're prettier, and appearance counts for a lot, but the brighter engine analysis colors are comparable to text in all caps, except more intense. Engine comments seem to almost float above the page, and the game score is pushed into the background.
The old colors were easily spotted, but didn't demand to be looked at. I hope reverting to them or otherwise toning the colors down will be considered. Engine analysis has become unusable, at least for for me, and I presume I'm not some sort of freak of nature. I think.
This was the first time I looked at a changelog here. Wow. A huge amount of work, with some great ideas, especially for insights. Lichess users are very fortunate to have the people working on our behalf that we do, especially Thibault. Many thanks!
